The Ionia County News, Thursday, October 22, 1942
George A. Windeknecht, 67, died Monday evening, October 19, in Butterworth 
hospital, Grand Rapids, after a long illness.  Mr. Windeknecht had made his 
home with his daughter Mrs. V. F. Kulfan, Harter Street, for the past six 
months.  Besides his daughter he leaves a son, Raymond of Owosso and three 
sisters.

Services will be from Van Strien Funeral Home, Grand Rapids, Thursday 
afternoon with burial at Holland.
