The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, November 12, 1980

Nyle O. Wing, 79, 320 E. Oak St., Greenville, died Tuesday at Ionia County 
Memorial Hospital.  He was born April 9, 1901, in Bushnell Township, Montcalm 
County, the son of Barnaby and Cornelius Wing.  He has been a resident of the 
Friendship House East since January, formerly a lifelong resident of the 
Fenwick and Sheridan areas.

He was a member of the Palo Methodist Church and the Ionia County Farm 
Bureau.  He was married to Elizabeth Mieras on April 5, 1924.  She survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Dennis of Fenwick, and Gale of Palo; two 
daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Jean) Edwards of Fenwick and Mrs. Max (Marian) Chambers 
of Lake City; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; and one brother, 
Phillip of Sheridan.

Services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Stebbins and Simpson Funeral Home, 
Sheridan, with the Rev. Dale Jaquette officiating.  Burial will be in Palo 
Cemetery.  Friends may call tonight from 7 to 8:30 at the funeral home.
