Lake Odessa Wave - March 18, 1971
          SERVICES HELD FOR EDWARD E. WINNER
   Edward E. Winner, 62, passed away last Wednesday evening at Kent Community
Hospital, Grand Rapids.  He 
had been hospitalized since December 17.
   Mr. Winner was born January 18, 1909 in Defiance, Ohio, son of George and Mary
((Shock) Winner and had 
resided at Lansing and Grand Rapids before moving to Lake Odessa 16 years ago.
   He married Moneta Simmons of Huntingburg, Ind. one October , 1929 at Okemos.  He
was a member of 
Lakewood Baptist Church and was employed by the Tool Industries of Middleville, and
was president of the 
union.
   Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. James (Virginia) Costigan of Lansing
and Mrs. Budd (Marjorie) 
Knuppenburg of Caledonia; a son, Robert of Wyoming; a sister, Mrs. Kenneth (Thelma)
Lobsinger of Sumner; 
three brothers, Raymond of California, Ernest of Laingsburg and Earl of Pear Beach;
and 14 grandchildren.
   Funeral services were held on Saturday at Pickens Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa. 
Rev. Wayne Ritchie 
officiated with burial n Lakeside cemetery.
