Leona C. Winright, 84, of Peckins Road, Lyons died Friday afternoon at Carson
City hospital.  She was born in Gratiot County on June 19, 1898 the daughter of
John and Anna Crandall.  

She married James Winright in December of 1915.  He preceded her in death in
February of 1977.  She lived in the Lyons area since 1912 and at her present
farm since 1946.

Surviving are three sons: George of Otsego, Walter of Fruitport and Carl of
Wyoming; three daughters: Miss Pauline Winright of Lyons, Mrs. Renee Hale of
Ionia, and Mrs. Christine Cotton of Bath; 16 grandchildren and 16
great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Hull Memorial Chapel
the Rev. Paul Carmichael, of the Lyons Baptist church officiating.  Burial will
be in the Lyons cemetery.
