Winslow, 73, of 946 Bellamy Road, Ionia, died Friday morning at Ionia County Memorial Hospital. Born Nov. 5, 1910, in Evart, he was the son of Frederick and Cora King Winslow. He was married June 10, 1942, in Ionia to Leota Umphrey. He lived most of his life in the Ionia area and served with the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a member of Easton United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife Leota; and two sons, James Winslow of Lansing and Rick Winslow of San Francisco. Funeral services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the Roetman Funeral Home, with the Rev. Kay Williams officiating. Burial will be in Easton Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorials have been established for Easton United Methodist Church and the Michigan Heart Fund, in care of the funeral home.
