The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, March 18, 1949


Cora A. Winters, 50, wife of Angus Winters, died at her home in Lyons Thursday 
afternoon at 3:30 o’clock.  She was born in Montcalm county, the daughter of 
Mr. and Mrs. David Hopkins.

She leaves her husband; a son, Clare Crowling of Fenwick; a daughter, Mrs. 
Harold Noggle, of Franklin; a sister, Mrs. Pearl Ralph, of South Ionia; three 
brothers, David Hopkins, of Ionia and Chauncey and William of Palo; and four 
grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon from the Bradley funeral home 
with the Rev. Earl F. Buffum of Lyons officiating.  Interment will be in Sunny 
Hill cemetery north of Palo.
