Mrs. Elizabeth Wirth, 73, died Friday morning at the home of her son-in-law and 
daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hanses, north of the village, where she had been 
residing for several months. Funeral  services were held Monday forenoon at 
St. Mary's Church and burial was in the Parish Cemetery. Mrs. Wirth had been in 
poor health for several years and had been confined to her bed for the past 
three months. She was born in Germany, coming to this country at the age of seen 
years. Her husband, George Wirth, died several years ago, John Trierweiler, of 
Portland, and Peter J. Trierweiler, of Westphalia, are brothers of Mrs. Wirth and 
Mrs. Anna French, of Ionia, is a sister. Surviving children are Arthur Wirth 
Mrs. Joseph Fedewa, Mrs .Alfred Thelen, Mrs. Joseph Hanses, Westphalia; Mrs. Louis 
Goerge, Fowler; Mrs. Michael Trierweiler, Lansing
