FUNERAL RITES OF E.W. WISE, HELD HERE ON SUNDAY

large Number Pay Last Respects To Business Man; Interment At Kalamazoo

The funeral of Ezra W. Wise, 52, prominent business man of this city who died 
last Thursday, was held Sunday afternoon from the late residence, with Rev. 
Joseph H. Green, pastor of the Presbyterian church, in charge. A large number 
of friends and relatives gathered to pay their final respects to one whom they 
had held in high esteem, including members of a number of organizations, such 
as the Ionia City band, the moose and the Woodmen, with which he had been 
affiliated. 

The body was shipped to Kalamazoo and lay in state there from 11 to 1:30 
Monday, and interment was made in Riverside cemetery there Monday afternoon
