CORA WISE DIED SUNDAY
Mrs. Cora M.Wise, 82, route one Woodland, passed away Sunday morning at her home 
after a short illness. She had spent most of her life in the Woodland area 
moving here from Darke county, Ohio with her parents, Edward and Mary Katherman 
Fisher when two years old.

She married Joseph D Wise, December 24, 1900 ad he passed away three years ago 
last November.

Mrs.Wise was a member of the Woodland Church of the Brethren.

Surviving are three daughters,Mrs.William(Josephine) Laycock of Woodland, Miss 
Majorie Wise of Covina, Calif., and Miss Cornelia wise ofLos Angeles,Calif.; one 
son Buel F.Wise of Lake Odessa; three grandsons; one sister Miss Susie Fisher 
and two brothers, Jerry Fisher and Walter Fisher all of Woodland.

Mrs.Wise reposed at the Pickens Funeral Chapel until taken to the Woodland 
Church of the Brethren where funeral services were held Wednesday at 1:30 with 
burial in the Woodland Memorial cemetery. Rev. Martin Krieger officiated.
