                                 MRS. MAE WISE

LAKE ODESSA-Mrs.Mae Wise, 88, former Woodland resident died Sunday at Kent 
Community hospital in Grand Rapids.

Born at Dayton,Ill., June 29, 1884, she was the daughter of Edward and Harriett 
Thompson Brundage.

She attended State Normal college at Ottawa,Ill., and taught school four years 
at Wedron,Ill.

December 18, 1908, she was married to Clyde Wise of Wedron. They came to the 
Woodland area in 1927. He preceded her in death December 8, 1958, and since she 
had lived several years with a daughter at Cedar Springs.

A member of Woodland United Methodist Church, she also belonged to its United 
Methodist Women's group.

Surviving are two daughters,Mrs.Russell Rietsma of Grand Rapids and Mrs.George 
Wager of Cedar Springs; son, Norman of Woodland; seven grandchildren a six 
great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:30 pm at Pickens Funeral Home in lake 
Odessa. Interment will be at Woodland Memorial Park.
