As a result of a stroke of paralysis suffered more than week ago, E. B. Wise, 
80, of Belding, died late last Thursday afternoon.  The paralytic stroke with 
which he was seized left him in such condition that his life was despaired of 
from the very start.

Mr. Wise was a native of the Wolverton plains where he spent all of his life 
until 10 years ago when he moved to Belding where he has since made his home. 

Mr. Wise is survived by his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Emma Curtis of Edmore, 
two sons, Albert of Amble and Arthur of Belding and one nephew, E. J. Bigler, 
who lives near Belding, and several other nieces and nephews residing at more 
distant points.

Funeral services for Mr. Wise were held at the late residence in Belding with 
Rev. E. Church officiating.
