The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, September 8, 1970

Mrs. Marvel Hutchins Wisner, 81, died Monday at the Ridgeview convalescent 
home in Kalamazoo following an extended illness.  She was born March 28, 1889 
in Trufant the daughter of Winslow J. Dodge and Catherine Giles Dodge.

Married June 28, 1912 to Thurman Hutchins, he died September 11, 1924.  
October 28, 1933 she was married to Robert Wisner.  She operated a beauty shop 
in Ionia from 1924 to 1933.  She had lived nine years in Saginaw, 20 years in 
Lansing and the past year in Kalamazoo.  She was a member of Millwood United 
Methodist church in Kalamazoo.

Besides her husband Robert, she leaves a daughter, Mrs. Maxine Haight of 
Ionia; one granddaughter and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be on Thursday at 2 p.m. at Myers-Roetman funeral home.  
Rev. Heath Goodman of Millwood United Methodist church and Rev. Charles 
Fullmer of First United Methodist church of Ionia will officiate.  Interment 
will be at Highland Park cemetery.
