Ionia County News, 22 Jan 1942

Lewis Witbeck of Clarksville died at his home in the village, Monday, January 
19, after about three weeks serious illness. Mr. Witbeck had been carrying mail 
for the past year.

Surviving are the widow, Edith Walters Witbeck, two daughters and one son, all 
of whom are married.  They are Emma of Grand Ledge; Mary of Clarksville, and 
Versil of Alabama.  He also leaves one brother in Greenville.

Funeral service will be from the home at 2:00 Friday afternoon, January 23.  
Burial at Clarksville.
