Ionia Sentinel Standard – 1 August 1967
Mrs. Otillia Mary Witte, 77, 312 James Street in Portland, died Monday evening 
at St. Lawrence hospital in Lansing.  She is survived by her husband William, 
two twin daughters, Mrs. Mary Evelyn Davis of Standish and Mrs. Mary Geraldine 
Dunn of Clare; five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, three sisters, 
Mrs. Caroline Meyers of Lansing, Mrs. Frances Renberg of Grand Rapids and 
Bernita Hengsbach of Grand Rapids; and a brother, Herbert Hengsbach of Lansing.

Services will be Thursday at 9:30 am at St. Patrick church in Portland.  Mrs. 
Witte was a member of that church.  Fr. Stephen Kolenic will officiate.  
Rosary will be recited Wednesday at 8:30 pm at Neller Funeral Home, and burial 
will be in Portland Cemetery.
