Jan Michael Wittenbach age 65 of Ionia passed away January 26, 2021. He was born 
February 19, 1955 in Grand Rapids the son of George and Barbara (Biggler) 
Wittenbach. Jan married Yvonne in 1999.

He was a member of Lyons-Muir Church and always enjoyed going to other churches 
in the area with his family. Jan loved dirt track racing, hunting and golfing. 
Above all spending time with his family was his greatest joy.

Surviving are his wife Yvonne Wittenbach of Ionia. Sons; Brad (Denise) 
Wittenbach of Saranac, Bart (Abbie) Wittenbach of Saranac. Step-daughters; Jamie 
Helton of Ionia and Rebecca (Ben) Taylor of Ionia. Siblings; Chris (Gayle) of 
Clinton, Dean (Julie) Wittenbach of Ionia, Joe (Deb) Wittenbach of Muir, Pat 
(Terry) Wittenbach of Ionia, James (Justin) Wittenbach of Ohio, Kim (Karla) 
Wittenbach of Ionia and Anne (Scott) Swinehart of Ionia. 14 grandchildren and 6 
great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Steve and 
Sister Paula.

A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, February 2nd from 2:00-5:00 PM at 
Lake Funeral Home in Ionia. Those wishing may make memorial contributions to his
