Ionia Sentinel Standard, 27 Apr 1995

Glen B. Witzel, 70, of 532 Harrison, Belding, died April 15, 1995.  Born Aug. 4,
1924, in Fenwick, he was the son of Lloyd and Martha Cooper Witzel.  He was
graduated from Cedar Springs High School and served in the Army Medical Corps
during World War II.  He was retired from Gibson of Greenville.

Surviving are three sons, Roger Witzel of Stanton, Gary Witzel of Texas, and
Steve Witzel of Muir; a daughter, Joan Bailey of Saranac; several grandchildren
and great grandchildren; two brothers, Lowaine Witzel and Kenneth Witzel of
Stanton; and a sister, Esther Belle Shields of Reed City.

Graveside services were held April 20 at 11 a.m. at Lyons Cemetery, with the
Rev. Paul Carmichael officiating.  Arrangements by Hull Memorial Chapel, Muir.
