Aneta H. Wixson, 89, of 617 W. Main St., Stanton, died Thursday, July 4, 2002,
at Metron of Greenville.  She was born June 7, 1913, in Ionia, the daughter of
George Austin and Juna Bennett.  Mrs. Wixson has been a longtime resident of
Stanton.  She retired from Gibson’s in Greenville and was a life member of VFW
Post 5065 Ladies Auxiliary, Sheridan.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two husbands, Clarence Hansen and
Dory Wixson.  She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Clarence and
Anne Hansen, Gaylord and Carol Hansen, all of Stanton, Dale F. and Joyce Hansen
of Fremont, one stepdaughter, Theta Petersen of Grand Rapids; 12 grandchildren,
19 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Forest Hill Cemetery, Stanton, with
her grandson, Pastor Terry Hansen, officiating.  Interment will be in the
cemetery.  No visitation will be held.  Funeral arrangements are being handled
by Stebbins & Simpson Funeral Home, Sheridan.
