Wizorek, 65, died Monday afternoon at his residence, 934 Yeomans street. He had been in ill health for the past four years. A lifelong resident of Ionia, he was born July 23, 1895 in Ionia, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Wizorek, and had made his home at the Yeomans street address for 34 years. He attended SS. Peter and Paul school and was a member of Knights of Columbus and held several offices in the lodge. He was a past grand knight and past district deputy of the lodge. Mr. Wizorek was employed at Michigan Reformatory 27 years and until his retirement four years ago. He previously had worked at Hayes Body shop. He was a veteran of World War I and served in the European theater in France. June 17, 1924 he was married in Hubbardston to the former Zeta Cunningham, who survives him. Besides his wife, Zeta, he leaves a son, Lawrence of Ionia; two grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. F. H. Wellman of Ferndale, Mrs. Agnes Brabant of Detroit, and Mrs. Frank Nowland of Mt. Pleasant, and a brother, Fred of Mt. Pleasant. Funeral service will be conducted at SS. Peter and Paul church Thursday at 9 a.m. Rosary will be recited at Phelps funeral chapel at 8 o’clock Wednesday evening. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet cemetery. ----- Solemn Requiem High Mass for Frank H. Wizorek, 65, of 934 Yeomans street, who died at his home February 13, was held at SS. Peter and Paul church Thursday at 9 a.m., following prayer service at the funeral home at 8:30. Funeral mass was sung by the Rev. Fr. Jerry Martin of Sacred Heart Seminary in Detroit, nephew of Mr. Wizorek. The Rev. Fr. Thomas Schiller and Rev. Fr. Vincent Kamarauskas were deacon and sub-deacon. Bearers, all nephews of Mr. Wizorek, were Jack Brabant, Fred Brabant, William Brabant, Harry Martin, Bernard Martin and Richard Nowland. Knights of Columbus were honor guards, and attending and presenting the flag to the family were fellow members of World War I. Barracks 327 of Kent county, and Carl Seabrook and P. J. O’Connor of Ionia. Interment was at Mt. Olivet cemetery. Attending from out of town were Bernard Martin, Sr., Bernard Martin, Jr., Harry Martin, Fred Brabant, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Brabant and Billy, Mr. and Mrs. Matt Ankley and family, Mrs. Agnes Brabant and William Brabant of Detroit; Richard Nowland, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Nowland, and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wizorek of Mt. Pleasant; Mrs. Marie Wizorek, Barbara Wizorek, Mrs. Les Youngs, Mrs. Carl Begerow, Mrs. Carl Lenertz and Mrs. A. Morris of Grand Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. Everett Cogswell, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bolt, David Grace, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Grace, Eleanor Daly and Helen Cunningham of Lansing; Mrs. John McGraw of Carson City, Mr. and Mrs Harold Cunningham, Mrs. Robert Barker and Mrs. Keith Clark of Hubbardston, William H. Bannan and Phil Bannan of Jackson.
