                             MABLE E.WINCHELL

IONIA-Mable E. Winchell, 93, of Ionia, died Thursday,Dec.5, in Charlotte.

She was born the daughter of John and Ida Johnson Winchell, Feb. 15, 1898, in 
Ionia.

She lived in Ionia her entire life. She worked for Michigan Bell Telephone Co. 
from 1919 until her retirement in August of 1961.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ionia all of her life.

She is survived by a nephew, Fred Johnson of Greenville; her sister-in-law, 
Helen M. Winchell Crosby of Port Richey, Fla.; and several cousins.She was 
preceded in death by her brother Arthur, in 1982.

The family will be at the Cook Funeral Home from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.

There will be no funeral service.

A Memorial has been established for First Baptist Church Memorial Fund, in care 
of the funeral home.
