Carson City - Richard J. Wohlfert, 54, of Hubbardston, died Monday, Jan 13,
1992, of accidental drowning in Clinton County.  Funeral services were conducted
Saturday at St. John the Baptist Church, Hubbardston, by the Rev. Father William
Reitz with interment in the church cemetery.

Mr. Wohlfert was born Sept. 27, 1937, in Hubbardston, the son of Gilbert and
Mary Foster Wohlfert.  A 25-year employee of Sealed Power in St. Johns, he was a
1956 graduate of St. John’s Academy, Hubbardston, a member of Knights of
Columbus and a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his wife, the former Mary Ann Hevel, whom he married in 1961;
a son, Franklin Joseph Wohlfert, Hubbardston; three sisters, Margaret Phelps,
Alaska, Mary Ann Grant, Hubbardston, Elizabeth Criss, Lansing. 

Arrangements were handled by Schnepp Funeral Home Carson City.  Memorial
contributions may be made to the Lupus Foundation.
