WOLBERS
Robert Bob" Lee Wolbers, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Thursday 
September 23, 2021. Bob was born on January 23, 1937, the son of Benjamin and 
Francis (Stocks) Wolbers in Grand Rapids. On November 19, 1983, he married the 
love of his life, Carol. Bob enjoyed restoring John Deere tractors and his 1950 
chevy truck. He loved camping, car shows, tractor shows and going over the 
Mackinac bridge on tractors.

He is survived by his loving wife, Carol, of Saranac; children, Rachelle (Ron) 
Hammons of Texas, Robert Wolbers Jr. of Texas, Sonja (Troy) Dedonado of Lowell, 
Steve Donovan of Battle Creek, and Michelle (Richard) Bush of Saranac; siblings, 
Gordon (Linda) Wolbers of Lowell, Gaylord (Sue) Wolbers of Clarksville and 
Marilyn Ulferts of Minnesota; 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Bob 
was preceded in death by his parents.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11 AM Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at 
St.Anthony's Catholic Church in Saranac. Visitation from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM 
Tuesday at the Lake Funeral Home in Saranac. Memorial contributions may be made 
to the Lemon Holton Cancer Center. Online Condolences can be made at
