Feb. 27, 1958 Mrs. Claudia Wolcott, 72, of route 1, Woodland, died at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday at Pennnock hospital soon after she was admitted. She was born October 5, 1885 at Nashville, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orrin Hyde. She was married to Reuben Wolcott in December of 1908. The Wolcotts have spent their entire married life in the Woodland area and the past 45 years at their present farm home. Mrs. Wolcott was a life member of Woodland Methodist church, a Sunday school teacher for many years, and also head of the primary department. She was a member of the W.S.C.S. Surviving besides her husband are two brothers, Benjamin Barnum of Lake Odessa and William A. Hyde of Detroit, and a sister, Miss Velma Benson of Cleveland, Ohio. The body will repose at Picken’s funeral chapel, Lake Odessa, until Saturday, when services will be held at 2 p.m. at the Woodland Methodist church. The Rev. Robert Zimmerman will officiate. Interment is to be in Woodland Memorial cemetery.
