Ionia Sentinel Standard, 25 Aug 1992

Edith R. Wolf, 71, of 1582 34th Street, Allegan, died Monday in Allegan General
Hospital.  Born in Ionia Sept. 8. 1921, she was the daughter of Ernest and Edna
Beasley Bemis.

Surviving are a stepson, Louis Wolf Jr. of Holland; three step-daughters, Joyce
Ferris of Kentwood, Loretta Versleus of Grand Haven, and LaVina Randolph of
Tennessee; 12 step-grandchildren; 15 step great grandchildren; two brothers, Roy
Bemis of Otsego and Eldon Bemis of Ypsilanti; three sisters, Margerite Blazer of
Ohio, Eva Thomas of Florida, and Betty Dougherty of Ionia.  She was preceded in
death by her husband Louis and one son, Ernest (Corky).

Funeral services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. from the Lake Funeral Home, Saranac,
with the Rev. Lloyd Bronson officiating.  Burial will be in Easton Cemetery. 
The family will be at the funeral home Tuesday and Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
 A memorial for Allegan General Hospital has been established, in care of the
funeral home.
