Passes Beyond Vale Mother of Samuel Wolford and Mrs. Mary Hubbard Died after Life of Eighty-two Years. Mrs. Elizabeth Wolford living five miles west of town, died last Monday at the age of nearly eighty-two years. For a number of years the husband and father has been an invalid and it looked as though the father was to leave the home first, but not so, death called the mother, leaving the invalid husband who will be cared for by the son Samuel and his good wife. These old people have lived in this vicinity since 1888 or forty-eight years. In 1868 she united with the church continuing the Christian life fifty-eight years. An enviable record of service. She was the mother of eleven children seven sons and four daughters. Two sons and two daughters having preceded her in death. Those left are Samuel H., living near the old home, John of High River, Alberta, Washington of Gillett, Wis., David of Manchester, O., Solomon at home, Mrs. Mary A. Hubbard of Lake Odessa and Mrs. Emma Beagle of Lansing. There are thirty-three grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. The funeral was held at the home Monday and burial was at Lake Side cemetery.
