Lake Odessa Wave-Thurs. July 2, 1959

Altha Wolford died Unexpectedly Thurs.
Mrs. Altha Wolford, 85, route one, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday morning at the
home of her son Mr. and Mrs. Hershel Wolford, after several months of ill health.

A native of Odessa township, she was the daughter of Franklin and Mary Aldrich, and
was a lifelong resident of this area. She had lived on Darby road, since 1900 and at the
present farm home since 1901 in Campbell township. Her husband, Samuel passed away in 1950.

Mrs. Wolford had been a member of the Local Rebekah Lodge, since 1896.

Surviving are two sons, Hershel of Lake Odessa and Cloyd of Montana; one sister Mrs.
Genevieve Dodds of Saranac.

Funeral services were held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at the Beattie Funeral home at
Clarksville with burial in the lakeside cemetery. Rev. A. J. Pitman officiated.
