Ionia County News - Thursday, April 1, 1926

Mrs. William Wolford, 81, one of the old pioneer settlers of Campbell 
township, died at their fam home, a mile south of the Darby school, Saturday. 
She leaves an invalid husband of about the same age, who has been ill for 
several years, also four sons and one daughter, all grown. Funeral was held at 
the home Tuesday afternoon with Rev. Peter B. Messner, minister of the 
Brethren church, of which denomination they were long time members, in charge. 
Interment was in Lakeside cemetery.
