Feb. 26, 1976 Edward Wolthuis Dies at Florida Edward J. Wolthuis, 65, of Bonita Springs, Florida and former Clarksville resident passed away Friday at Fort Myer, Florida a short time after admittance. He was born in grand Rapids, March 4, 1910, the son of Albertus and Marie (Stegehuis) Wolthuis. His early life was spent in the Grand Rapids area and he had been a resident of Clarksville about 30 years. Mr. Wolthuis was employed by the Saranac Milk Producers and later by the Grand Rapids Dairy Company, retiring in 1972, then moved to Florida. Surviving are his wife, the former Thressa Roberts; two sons, Gerald and Edward of Clarksville; three daughters, Mrs. Richard (Marilyn) Willard of Lowell, Mrs. Duane (Helen) McArthur of Lake Odessa and Mrs. Edward (Rosalyn) Ferris of Lyons; a sister, Mrs. Fredeiicka Bergage of Florida; a brother, Joseph Wolthuis of Bonita Springs, Florida; 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 1:30 Wednesday at the Pickens-Koops Funeral Chapel at Clarksville with burial in the Clarksville cemetery. Rev. Arthur Ruder officiated.
