Portland Observer, 9 Apr 1936

Mrs. Clarence Wolverton, 70, died Monday at her home on M-14 south of Ionia 
after an illness of 18 months.  She was born in Orange township where she had 
spent her entire lifetime, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Hinds.  Besides 
the husband she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. E. G. Longfield; two 
brothers, John and Albert Hinds, of Orange, and one sister, Mrs. Anna Post, of 
Belding.  She had been a member of the LeValley church since a child.

Funeral services were held Wednesday from the home with Rev. J. M. Jensen 
officiating.  Interment was made in the Balcom cemetery.
