Lyons Herald, 14 Oct 1920

George Francis Wood was born November 14, 1877, in Nebraska township, 
Livingston county, Illinois, and he died at Lyons, Michigan, October 7th, 1920, 
at the age of forty-two years and eleven months.

He was united in marriage to Miss Edith Wheeler in the Spring of 1891, and on 
the 9th of October death came and he was left alone.  On the 16th of February, 
1905 he was married to Miss Edna Ava Livingston and to them were born seven 
children all of whom are living.

He was converted and united with the Methodist church in his twenty-first year 
and he has been a member in good, regular standing.  In December of last year 
he united with the Moose order.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon from the home conducted by Rev. 
Chas. Nease, and interment made in Lyons cemetery.
