The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, February 10, 1969

James W. Wood, 22, was killed Saturday in an auto accident near Lansing.  
James had served two years with the armed forces returning this past year from 
a tour of duty in Vietnam.  For the past four months he was employed by 
Oldsmobile in Lansing.

He leaves his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Creston E. Wood of Mesa, Ariz.; four 
sisters, Mrs. Mary Clark of Belding, Connie, Bonnie and Thelma Ann Wood all of 
Mesa, Ariz.; one brother Roy also of Mesa.

Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Huffman funeral home in Belding with 
Rev. Wilford D. Wood officiating.  Interment will be at River Ridge cemetery.

Bearers will be William Feehan, Richard Fitzner, Dan Braman, Robert Barnes, 
Jr., Clifford Foster and Dan Blunt.
