The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, October 29, 1934

Mrs. Laura Wood, wife of William S. Wood, died at her home, 201 DeKwak alley, 
Sunday evening at 5:30 o’clock, at the age of 68 years.  Mrs. Wood was born in 
Canada and was married to Harry Page whose death occurred in 1898.  The 
following year she married William Wood and since their marriage they have 
lived in the vicinity of Ionia.

Funeral services will be held from the Myers funeral home Wednesday afternoon 
at 2:30 o’clock with Rev. F. J. Fitch conducting the service.  Interment at 
the family lot at Highland Park cemetery.
