Ionia Shopper's Guide - May 28, 2011


Patricia Ann Wood, 76, of Matherton passed away in Lansing on May 17, 2011, 
following a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her daughter Cathleen 
Wood, mother and step-father Grace and James Jones, father Rosse Harlan, 
brother Ronnie Harlan, and sister and brother-in-law Marjorie and Adolph 
Sulzle. She is survived by her loving husband Woody; daughters Sheri (Jim) 
Wheelock of Eagle, and Danette Wood of Lansing; sons Michael Wood of Matherton, 
Mark Wood of Allendale, and Martin (Kimmie) Wood of Fenwick; grandchildren Jim 
Badder of Eagle, Jaclyn Badder of Portland, Bridget Wood of Lansing, and 
Katelyn Peiffer and Tristan Peiffer of Hubbardston; and great granddaughter 
Bonnie Badder of Eagle. She is also survived by her sister Roberta “Dee Dee” 
(Breymann) Buerger of Beeville, TX; sister-in-law Jeannie Harlan of Sturgis, 
SD; brother-in-law Herbert Wood of Lansing; and many nieces, nephews and 
friends. Pat was cremated, and no visitation or service was held. A memorial 
and dinner were held on Saturday, May 21, at American Legion Post 182 in 
Hubbardston.
