Funeral services for Robert J. Wood, 88 of 7887 Woods Drive, Route 1, Belding
were held Tuesday afternoon at Huffman Funeral home.  He died October 9 in his
bathtub at home.  Mr. Charles Carrol of Greenville officiated at the services. 
Interment was at Ashley Cemetery, Grattan township.

Mr. Wood was born May 13, 1883 in Montcalm County.  he was the son of Luella
(Barber) and Frank Wood Sr.  He was married to Edith S. Longstreet March 17,
1913 in Otisco township.  She preceded him in death in 1963.

He was a retired self-employed farmer and a member of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Mr. Wood is survived by two sons, Keith of Belding and Phillip of Englewood,
Florida; one sister, Mrs. Winnie Harrison of Greenville; two brothers, A. J.
Wood of Grand Rapids and Frank Wood Jr. of Cooks Corners.
