Mrs. Alice Wood, 72 years of age, of Belding, died Thursday evening at the home 
of her daughter, Mrs. Elmer Weller, in Grand Rapids.  Mrs. Wood has been a life-
long resident of the vicinity of Belding being born in Gratten to Mr. and Mrs. 
Robert Stocking also lifelong residents of that district.

She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Weller and Mrs. Lou Emmons, of Grand Rapids, and 
two sons, Lloyd, of Chicago, and Harold, of Grand Rapids.

Funeral services will be held from the Fitzjohn’s funeral home Sunday afternoon 
at 2 o’clock
with burial at River Ridge cemetery.
