Barbara M. Wood, aged 97, of Lyons passed away December 12, 2014 at her home.  
She was born October 25, 1917 in Dowgiac, Michigan the daughter of George and 
Alnora (Crooker) Wilson.  She married Perry L. Wood August 31, 1940 he preceded 
her in death in 1999. 

Barbara was a longtime member of the Lyons Baptist Church. 

She is survived by her children George (Judy) Wood of Allegan, Greg (Gloria) 
Wood of Bitely, Dale Wood of Belding, Carol Wood of Lyons, Gary (Priscilla) 
Wood of Houston, Daniel (Sally) Wood of Lyons, Marsha (Larry) Sonntag of 
Houston and Lori (Mark) Aldrich of Aurora; daughter-in-law Liane Wood of Lyons; 
18 Grandchildren; several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and 
step grandchildren.  Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, son Paul 
Wood, two brothers and one sister. 

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at 
Lyons Baptist Church with Pastor Cashner officiating.  Interment Sunset 
Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be at the Church on Wednesday 11 a.m. until 
the time of services.  In lieu of flowers those wishing may make memorial 
contributions to Lyons Baptist Church.  Arrangements by Lake Funeral Home in 
Muir.
