Paul Douglas Wood, age 62, of Lyons, Michigan, passed away Aug. 21, 2014.  He 
was born Aug. 10, 1952, in Ionia, Michigan.

Paul is survived by his wife Liane of Lyons, Michigan; children, Lucas 
(Jennifer) Wood of Mason, Michigan, Adam (Jennifer) Wood of Ionia, Michigan, 
and Tyler (Jim) Heydenburk of Lyons, Michigan; grandchildren, MacKenzie Wood, 
Jack Heydenburk, Brendan Wood, Nathan Wood, Emily Wood, and Charliane 
Heydenburk; mother, Barbara Wood; siblings, George (Judy) Wood, Greg (Gloria) 
Wood, Dale Wood, Carol Wood, Gary (Priscilla) Wood, Twozer (Sally) Wood, Marsha 
(Larry) Sonntag and Lori (Mark) Aldrich.  Paul had many beloved nieces and 
nephews.  He also left behind his dogs, Albert and Louis.  He was preceded in 
death by his father, Perry Wood.

A memorial service will take place at a later date.

Paul lived life to the fullest with his family and many friends. He loved his 
wife and children very much.  His grandchildren meant the world to him.  Paul 
had a way of filling the room with smiles and laughter everywhere he went.  He 
will be greatly missed.
