June I. Wood, Age 87, of Ionia, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2015.  She was
born on July 9, 1927 in Bath, MI, the daughter of Roy and Nellie (Fountaine)
Wilson.  Mrs. Wood was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Ionia
since 1982.  June loved her birds and flowers, and was very devoted to the Lord.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Henry “Hank” M. Wood on Feb.
4, 1991; siblings, Leroy Wilson, Wanita Schafer, Kenny Wilson, and Virgiline
Bradley.  Surviving are her son David “Woody” (Emily) Wood of Ionia; 10
grandchildren, Nicole (Lee) Guernsey, Robin (Jason) Baker, Casey (Bre) Wood,
Cody (Katie) Wood, Camden Wood, Cyra (Jerod) Wood, Tristin Wood, Shawntae Wood,
Spencer Wood, and Michael Peavey; 11 great grandchildren; and brother, Everett
(Nina) Wilson.

The Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 6, 2015, at the
First Assembly of God Church, Ionia, with Pastor Mark Gerdes presiding. 
Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Ionia.  The family will
receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday at Lehman Funeral Homes, 220
Rich St., Ionia.
