Ionia Daily Standard, 23 Aug 1899

Mrs. Charles Wood of Ionia township, died Monday morning of Bright’s disease. 
Deceased was 66 years of age, and leaves a husband and four children.  Funeral
at 1:30 on Tuesday afternoon from the residence; interment in Highland park
cemetery.  Rev. W.H. Thomas, D.D., officiated.
