The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, May 27, 1952
Funeral services for Dennis H. Wood, 5, who died early Saturday morning in 
Belding City hospital, were conducted Monday afternoon at the Stone-Kauffman 
funeral home by the Rev. Court O. Adams.  Bearers were Stanley Doty, LaVern 
Doty, Willard Doty and Gerald Whitford.  Interment was in Orleans cemetery.  
Children of the Orleans school attended in a group and acted as an honorable 
escort.

Relatives attending the services from away were Mr. and Mrs. Max Doty, Stanley 
Doty, Mr. and Mrs. Willard Doty, Mrs. Emma Wooldridge, Mrs. Louise Bigler, Mr. 
and Mrs. L. D. Towne, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle North, Mrs. Wesley Hackett, Miss 
Marjorie Jackson, Mrs. Harold Clingensmith, Mrs. Robert Palmer, Mrs. Elwin 
Pierson, Mrs. Ada Sherwood, Mrs. Paul Trebian, Mrs. James Ort, Mrs. Art 
Clifford, Orville Schultz, Miss Edna Thorne, Mrs. Kenneth Harrison, Mr. and 
Mrs. Elgie Worden and Rowley Youngs, Orleans; Mrs. Dale Howe, Mr. and Mrs. 
Gerald Whitford, Mrs. Allen Doty and Mrs. Maude Howe of Belding; Mr. and Mrs. 
LaVern Doty of Wayland; Mrs. Ruth Richards and Mrs. Barbara Smith of Portland; 
Mrs. Clare Schaffer of Palo; Mrs. Jack Stoudt and Mrs. Don Stoudt of Muir; Mr. 
and Mrs. Marion Blow of Muskegon; Mrs. Minnie Wager of Detroit; Mr. and Mrs. 
Paul DeBoer and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Bouman of Grand Rapids; and Willard Stanton 
of Midland.
