The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, September 4, 1968
Rev. Robert McComb of First Presbyterian church officiated at funeral services 
Tuesday for Mrs. Margaret Ione Wood who died Saturday.  Interment was in 
Balcom cemetery.  Bearers were Harold Bray, Cecil Eagle, Harvey Slocum, Robert 
Todd, Dale Rosecrance, George Bohnsack.

Attending from out of town were Mrs. Beulah Calley, Mr. and Mrs. John Wright, 
Barbara and Janice, George Bohnsack, Mrs. Godfrey Engstrom of Bay City; Mrs. 
John Bohnsack of Cass City, Robert Martin of Midland, Mrs. Nathan Nicholas of 
Kalamazoo, Gordon Cox of Pontiac, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Calley and son, Don, 
Mr. and Mrs. Dudley Martin, Mr. and Mrs. John Barnes, Mr. and Mrs. Leon 
Levine, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Plummer and Dr. and Mrs. Charles Shull of Detroit; 
Mr. and Mrs. Carl Clayton, Russell Freeman, Lt. Com. Robert Smith, USN, 
Richard Corey and Mrs. Edward Fink of Grand Rapids; Mrs. and Mrs. Truman 
Cerney and children of Grosse Pointe, Clarence Schumaker of Rockford, Mrs. 
Laura Lewis of Sheridan, Mrs. Gladys Devers of Muir, Mr. and Mrs. John Leiter 
and Mrs. Ray Cutler of Lyons, Mr. and Mrs. George Cobb of Saranac, Mr. and 
Mrs. John Moore and Kris of Greenville, Mr. and Mrs. Allan Wood of Wyoming.

Attending in groups were employees of Ionia State Hospital, Michigan Training 
unit and the VFW auxiliary.

Following services, a luncheon was prepared jointly by VFW auxiliary and 
Westminster Circle of Presbyterian church and served at VFW hall.
