Arlene G. Woodard, 91, of Orleans, entered the Grace of our Lord on Monday 
evening Dec. 31, 2012 at Green Acres Retirement Living in Ionia.

Arlene was born on June 14, 1921 in Orleans, the daughter of Walter and Bernice 
(Smith) Warden.

Arlene graduated with her future husband Earl from Ionia High School with the 
Class of 1939. Arlene was a member of Green Corners Baptist Church and enjoyed 
wintering in Texas for 25 years at Bibleville Conference Grounds in Alamo.

Arlene is loved and survived by her children; Lucy (Herman) Wilson of Freesoil, 
Donna Mae (Kenneth) Randall of Three Rivers, Doris Brooks of Orleans, Ivan 
(Deb) Woodard of Orleans, Martha (Clarence) Fothergill of Brownwood, Texas; 12 
grandchildren; and 32 great grandchildren.

Arlene was preceded by her husband Earl in 2010; her parents; one brother 
Raymond; and two sisters, Ila and Anna.

Funeral and committal services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan 8, 2013 at Green 
Corners Baptist Church with Pastor Paul Leslie officiating. Private interment 
will follow Orleans Township Cemetery, Orleans. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. 
Monday at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding.

Memorial contributions may be given to Ionia Area Hospice. Messages of
