Woodbury died at her home in Lansing early last week. She was brought up in Portland, her maiden name having been May Goodrich, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Goodrich. Her husband is a son of the late Capt. John D. Woodbury, a pioneer merchant, and the son followed in his footsteps, having been in the mercantile business here for several years. Later the couple moved to Lansing, where Mr. Woodbury was long connected with the Capital Servings & Loan bank. Mrs. Woodbury’s only sister, who will be remembered here as Grace Goodrich, died a few years ago in suburban Chicago. Surviving besides the husband, is one son, Charles, a resident of Washington, D.C. Some time ago Mrs. Woodbury broke a hip, but had about recovered from this. Her death was due to a heart attack. Rev. E. W. Bishop, of Plymouth Congregational church officiated at the funeral, and burial was in Mt. Hope cemetery, Lansing.
