Lee Carl Woodbury, 89, of Orleans, passed away Aug. 28, 2013. He was born Feb. 
5, 1924 in Muir, the son of Carl and Lula (Nolty) Woodbury.

Lee married Ruth Minikey on July 8, 1942. She passed away in 2011. He loved 
fishing, hunting and camping.

Lee is survived by his children, Richard Woodbury of Pewamo and Barbara 
(Buster) Valentine of Ionia; brother, Charles (Norma) Woodbury of Alma; 
grandchildren, Roger (Deb) Woodbury of Galien, Diana (Mike) Hengesbach of St. 
Johns, Missy Baird of Greenville, Ray (Jeannie) Valentine of Lowell, Deb 
(Lance) Walkington of Muir, and Clinton (Kristy) Valentine of Ionia; 12 great 
grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Woodbury; parents, Carl and Lula 
Woodbury; brother, Keith Woodbury; sister, Rosie Randall; grandson, Paul.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, at Lake Funeral 
Home in Muir with Pastor Greg Gladding officiating. Visitation will be held 
Tuesday, Sept. 3 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home in Muir. 
Interment at Oakwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lee's name to the Ionia Area
