Michael Jon Woodbury, age 61, of Orleans, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2014, 
from complications following cancer surgery.  He was born March 31, 1953, in 
Carson City to Charles and Norma (Ritchey) Woodbury.
 
Michael grew up in Muir and was a graduate of Ionia High School, Class of 1971 
and Montcalm Community College.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and worked 
at General Tire and for other area manufacturers.
 
Michael is survived by his children, Aaron Woodbury of Fenwick and Chad 
Woodbury of Ionia; mother, Norma Woodbury of Alma; brothers, Gerry (Becky) of 
Indiana and Randy (Vicki) of Norton Shores and his sister, Patty (Max) Strong 
of Mt. Pleasant; ex-wife, Diane Reddick of Ionia; sisters-in-law, Sherry 
Hutchinson of Ionia and Linda Stead of Harbor Springs; numerous nieces and 
nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews.
 
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Woodbury, July 2013, and his 
father, Charles Woodbury, June 2014.
 
At Michael's request, cremation has taken place and no services are planned at 
this time. Arrangements by Lake Funeral Home in Ionia.
