The Portland Observer, Wednesday, November 1, 1882
Died.—Oct. 27th 1882, Mrs. E. W. Woodbury, aged 68 years, 5 months and 18 
days.  Mrs. Woodbury was born in Vermont, May 9th, 1814 and married to Jessie 
L. Woodbury in 1831.  They removed to New York in 1834.  In Oct. 17th, 1861 
Mr. Woodbury died; Mrs. Woodbury removed to Portland in 1873, where she has 
resided until her death.  Peace be unto her ashes.
