Ionia Sentinel Standard, 16 Mar 1988

Lulu E. Woodbury, 93, of 386 E. Plains Street, Muir, died Monday at the Ionia 
Manor.  She was born March 16, 1894, at Crystal, the daughter of Edward and 
Maude (Harden) Nolty.  She was graduated from Crystal High School and married 
Carl Woodbury in March 1915.  He preceded her in death in October, 19?3.

She resided in the Muir area since 1920.  She was a member of the First 
Christian Church of Muir and its ladies’ organization.

Survivors include three sons, Lee Woodbury of Orleans, Charles Woodbury of 
Crystal and Keith Woodbury of Muir; one daughter, Rosalind Randall of Muir; one 
brother, William Nolty of Perrinton; one sister, Gertrude Dowsett of Muir; 10 
grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Muir Christian Church, 
with the Rev. Roger Wright officiating.  Burial will follow in the Muir 
Cemetery.

Friends may visit at the Hull Memorial Chapel in Muir before noon Friday.  A 
memorial fund has been established for the Muir Christian Church.
