The Portland Review, Thursday, October 15, 1970
Richard T. Wooden, 66 years, Route 3, Portland, passed away at the Sparrow 
Hospital October 7, 1970.

Survivors are his wife Helen, three daughters, Mrs. Margaret McPeck and Miss 
Kathleen Wooden of Portland and Mrs. Jane Stallard of Lansing.  Two sons, 
Richard T. Wooden, Jr., Lake Orin, Michigan and John B. Wooden of Royal Oak; 
nine grandchildren and one brother Robert A. Wooden of Portland.

Mr. Wooden was a retired Lansing Oldsmobile Forge Plant worker and a member of 
the Quarter Century Club.  

Funeral services were held last Saturday from the Neller Funeral Home with 
Rev. Richard Bayles officiating.  Burial was in the Danby Cemetery.  Bearers 
were Dr. Martin Kozachick, Julius Platte, Loyd Phillips, Carl Noren, William 
Sutphen and Arden McCormack.
