The Portland Review, Monday, June 28, 1982
Shirley A. Wooden of 216 E. Lenawee St. in Lansing died June 19 at a Lansing 
hospital.  She was 78.  Mrs. Wooden was born to Jason Platt and Nettie Russell 
on August 15, 1903.  She is survived by a brother Earl Platt of Lansing.

Services were held June 22 at 1:30 at the Neller Funeral Home with Pastor Dow 
Chamberlain officiating.  Burial was in Danby Cemetery.
