Woodhams, 58, of Ionia, died July 25, 1995 at Greenville Memorial Hospital. She was born June 2,1937 in Ionia, the daughter of Maurice and Ruth (Munn) Minier. She moved to St. Johns as a young lady where she was educated and was married to Stanley A. Woodhams on November 15, 1954. The couple moved to Orleans where they lived for 24 years and moved to Ionia in 1992. He preceded her in death on November 5, 1993. She had been an Avon Representative for 17 years, wrote a column for the Ionia Sentinel-Standard for some years and was a former member of the Mom’s Club in Belding. She also lovingly took care of children in her home. Surviving are four sons: James (Julie) Woodhams, of Ann Arbor, Michael (Kim) Woodhams, of Orleans, Bryan (Melissa) Woodhams, of Belding, and Scott (Kary) Woodhams, of Ionia; three daughters: Sherry (Paul) Ockert, of Orleans, Renae (Douglas) Ohlrich, of Ionia, and Penny Woodhams and Lyle Hallis, of Orleans; 11 grandchildren; her mother, Ruth Minier, of Ionia; two sisters: Marian (Leonard) Park, of Orleans and Shirley Larson, of Sparta; two brothers: Maurice (Betty) Minier, of Pewamo and Richard (Barbara) Minier, of Lowell; brother-in-law, Alvin Woodhams, of St. Johns; three sister-in-law: Marie Boles, of Wacousta, Delores Bashore, of Portland, and Barbara Holdridge, of Louisiana. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Cook Funeral Home. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 8:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Woodhams family. Envelopes are available at the Rich St. Chapel. Pallbearers will be members of the Woodhams family, and the organist will be Renate Conrad.
