The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, October 29, 1929
Mrs. Bertha Woodrich, about 53 years of age, wife of Henry Woodrich, died at 
her home in Flint Monday morning.  The funeral services will be held at the 
home, 61 Taylor street, Flint, Wednesday morning, at 11 o’clock.  The 
interment will take place in the Highland Park cemetery, Ionia. 

Mrs. Woodrich was born in Germany.  About 14 years ago, while residing in 
Ionia, she went to Flint to live.  She leaves her husband, two daughters, Mrs. 
Arthur Beck, of Ashley and Frances, at home; four sons, Herbert, Harold, 
Donald and Robert, all of Flint; one grandson; two sisters, Mrs. Charles 
Heisen of South Haven; Mrs. Robert Holtz, of Ionia; one half-sister, Mrs. May 
Williams, San Antonio, Tex.; one brother, Paul Schipper, of Ionia and a half-
brother, Theodore Schipper, of Berlin, Germany.
